Research and Development

We do custom R&D within the aviation/technology sector. Present us your needs and let us give you an offer how we can meet those needs.
If you need a custom build UAV, payload, tracking systems, etc. DAS will develop the best solution that fit you.

We have also done alot of  R&D to the Microdrone Systems so we can ad better value to the systems. Here you can se a list our active projects related to the Microdrone system(Can also be applied to other UAV systems):

LONG range Digital UHF

We have just finished the development of a long range UHF transmitter system for the microdrones.

Al future microdrones will be shipped from us with minimum the low powered UHF controlling system.
Systems range is configured at the order, at can control the Microdrone from 10-80km, and is digital with a 16bit checksum with every movement.
The benefits of our UHF controlling systems is:

- Long range

- Low power consumption

- Intitgrates into the microdrones

- Lower weight

- Faster response

- Reliable over water

- Higher security (digital with 16bit checksum)

- Can be built into the mulitiplex system

- Supports up to 12 Channels

FINISHED

Mobile base station

right now DAS is developing a mobile basestaion wich will be fully rugged,(IP55) intigrated with a Toughbook, joystick, and RF. approx. 2,7 kg. and shoulder strap

Benefits:

- Mobile

- Rugged

- Transmitter and basestation merged

- Uplink waypoint file

Est. finished mid 2010 (In testing)

Offshore Landing Systems (OLS)

With our customers flying from boats, we have developed and are testing our OLS, for landing on boats like RIBs.

A landing net making it more safe to land in the waveing water, and provides a larger landing area

Est. Finished end June 2010 (In testing)

Emergency Ponton Landing System (EPLS)

With the risk of something uwanted happning over water, we are developing EPLS for inflating small pontons under the MD4-1000 in emergency landing mode. Wich will safe the drone from water damages, and lost.

Est. Finshed end of 3Q 2010

All our Microdrone developments is available to our partners worldwide
